The short version. MiseTable is free to use. MiseTable Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription of 1 year at $9.99 per year (US pricing; local prices vary by storefront). It renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your App Store settings.
MiseTable is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. This page does not replace it — it adds the subscription and app-specific terms that sit on top of it.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MiseTable app ("MiseTable" or "the app"), published by Michael Donovan as an independent developer. By downloading or using MiseTable, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
MiseTable is licensed, not sold, to you. We use Apple's standard licence agreement, not a custom one. Your licence is Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications, which applies in full and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
These Terms are supplementary: they set out the subscription details and app-specific points below, and they do not modify or replace the Standard EULA. Where the two differ, the Standard EULA governs the licence itself.
The core of MiseTable — recipes, recipe import from a link, the meal plan, the grocery list and cooking mode — is free. MiseTable Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that additionally unlocks household sharing, nutrition tracking and goals, freezer management, Apple Reminders sync, and photo/scan recipe import.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same length unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Any unused portion of a free trial, where one is offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
If we change the price or contents of the subscription, the change applies to future renewal periods only, and Apple will ask for your consent before charging a higher price.
Recipes, photos, notes, meal plans and lists you add to MiseTable are yours. They are stored on your device and, where you enable it, in your own private iCloud account — see our Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership of your content, and we have no access to it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; the app can export your whole library from Settings.
MiseTable can fetch a recipe page you choose and read its contents onto your device, in the same way a web browser would. Imported content belongs to whoever published it. You are responsible for using imported recipes in a way that respects the rights of the original author and the terms of the site you imported from — personal use in your own kitchen is what the feature is designed for. Do not use the app to republish or distribute someone else's content.
Please do not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with or disrupt the app, use it to break the law, or interfere with anyone else's use of it. If you share a household with other people, you are responsible for who you invite; anyone in your household can see and change the recipes, lists and meal plans in it.
Nutrition values in MiseTable come from the recipes you import or enter yourself and are estimates only. Allergen labels are detected automatically from ingredient names and can be wrong or incomplete. MiseTable is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Always check ingredient labels yourself, and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary decisions — especially where an allergy is involved.
We may add, change or remove features as the app develops. Some features depend on services provided by Apple — iCloud, CloudKit, Apple Health, Reminders and the App Store — and on websites outside our control, and those may be unavailable from time to time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiseTable is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and you may have rights under your local consumer law that these Terms do not affect.
You may stop using MiseTable at any time by deleting it (cancel any subscription separately, as described above). We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
